Becoming a Registered SEYM Youth Program Worker requires a Florida Department of Law Enforcement background check:
· The complete process for application and approval is described in the SEYM Child Abuse Prevention Procedures Manual. To become a SEYM Registered Youth Program Worker, please download and read the following manual. · Registed SEYM Youth Program Workers are required to receive SEYM Youth Program Worker Training. The Training may be completed by attending a Youth Program Worker Training Class or by reading the above procedures manual and the two manuals below. If you read the manuals to complete your training, sign the following affirmation and return it to the SEYM office. · Other child abuse prevention material: Summaries for Part-time Volunteers in SEYM Youth Programs provide useful do and don'ts for those who are NOT Registered SEYM Youth Program Workers (1-page handouts): Form for use by anyone giving the Chld abuse prevention training: |
